I have a nine-month-old girl and have been married over three years. My husband is a student and Boise State working on his bachelor's degree in criminal justice. I am a dedicated mother and have a love for learning and teaching. I have a bachelor of the arts from Boise State in elementary education, which qualifies me to teach kindergarten through eighth grades. I have spent time teaching all different ages, from kindergarten through fifth grade.

If there is one thing that I have learned throughout my teaching experiences, is that I love teaching. Teaching has given me an opportunity to use my creativity and energy in constructing a positive learning environment for all students. I am a person who has genuine integrity and excellent interpersonal skills. I have personally taken piano lessons for over nine years and taught piano lessons a little over two years through high school. I have been trained clasically and have a love for teaching and music. Teaching lessons is the perfect profession for me because it incorporates my love for music as well as my passion for teaching.

Because I have experience in the classroom I have learned that each student learns differently and therefore there are different way in which I teach. I use games and activites as well as group lessons with peers to further understanding of concepts and skills. I am adept at pinpointing learner's needs and creating effective means in which to teach to their learning styles and levels.
